This Ministry

This ministry is about conveying the grace and mercy of God who has created all things, and seeks to save and redeem mankind. God's grace, mercy and love transcend human understanding when we truly reflect upon the essence of life. After we have argued, complained, criticized, accused and even shaken our fist at God, He continues in mercy to scan the horizon of this planet watching for those individuals to come home to his grace. Like the prodigal son, we have all sinned and fallen short of his glory, and like the prodigal son, which perhaps symbolizes God's grace in it's quintessential form, God the Father is waiting for us to simply repent of our sin, receive his grace and favor, and be reconciled to him.  Read More

How Can I Know I Have Eternal Life?

Probably the most important question that we can ask, is, "How can I know for sure, that I have eternal life?" In other words, when I die, physically and my body is no longer breathing, what happens?

A Message to Pastors

Who got saved at your church last week?  We see pastors genuinely trying to do the best they can.  We see pastors preaching eloquently about salvation, and talking about the components of salvation, i.e. conversion, justification, sanctification, etc. We see them earnestly believing that they are making a difference, and they are "mission minded" giving thousands and even millions of dollars to their church missions programs.

Passion For the Perishing
It is easy to become complacent about the lost.  We get so busy being busy with our lives, that we can become overwhelmed with that which we do to earn a living. Pastors are no different.  Jesus tells us in John 4 that our mission is to lift up our eyes and see how the fields are white for harvest, and that his food or provision is to do the will of him who sent him, and to accomplish his work.  Jesus goes on to tell the disciples that he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit unto eternal life.  Here, the saying holds true, one sows and another reaps, I sent you to reap.  The bottom-line with our ministry is fulfilled in these precious words of Jesus who is charging his disciples with the priority of life.  Jesus goes on to tell them again in John 6, that we should labor not for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life.
The priority of truly seeking to reap God’s harvest of souls and labor diligently each day to have a passion for the perishing is definitely not automatic, and especially with “Christians”.  And yet, as we share the Gospel to turn souls from eternal death to eternal life, we understand that this is what God wants. What happens with most is a surface acknowledgement of this, but a heart set on earning a living, and so we have a dilemma, and especially in ministry, and in today’s churches, and with pastors.  Helping pastors, elders and Christians understand that God will provide in his own supernatural way, while we labor to reap God’s harvest is what this ministry is about.  We pray for pastors all over the world, that they will understand and trust in God’s supernatural provision, so that they will have hearts set on souls and not on gain, truly distinguishing between the holy and the common.

When Can I Go and Meet With God?
As the deer pants for streams of water,
so my soul pants for you, my God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When can I go and meet with God?

Psalms 42:1-2

Simply meeting with our Father.  No hidden agenda from man.  No seminar.  No coercion.  No pressure.  Just grace.  Armor Bearer Ministries extends pure grace to pastors and their wives to come away and rest for awhile.  As the Psalmist conveys in Psalms 42, we know that pastors thirst for the true living God, our Father.  We know, that they know what is ultimately in the heart of every man.

And we know that only time with our Heavenly Father, alone, gives that holy intimacy that imparts wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him and his will.

God wants pastors to be in complete accord with his will and in complete confidence of his grace alone to provide for all of our needs.  It takes a time of pure and holy intimacy with him to begin to understand the truth of his grace and his will.

As pastors come away by themselves and rest a while, this holy intimacy begins to open their hearts and minds to the simplicity of God’s holy grace and the understanding of his pure and simple will.  The Holy Spirit pours into their hearts this enlightenment and refreshing that empowers the fulfilling of the ministry that God has planned for them from before the foundation of the world.  Read More
